The rules for what we'll build, host, and serve.

The purpose of this Policy is twofold: to define (a) the content you may ask Press to build or host on your behalf, and (b) the conduct that is acceptable when using the Press platform, including the free preview, your account, the checkout and billing flows, add-ons, the Care Plan, and any website or service we deliver or host for you.

This Policy applies to:

• Clients: anyone who requests a preview, holds a Press account, or purchases a kept website, add-on, or Care Plan from us;
• Client content: all text, images, logos, code, briefs, files, links, products, and other material you submit to us, ask us to build, or host through us, whether you created it or obtained it from a third party; and
• Visitors: anyone who views, accesses, or interacts with a preview or a website we build or host, including people who receive a signed preview link.

If you are using Press on behalf of a business or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept this Policy for that organisation, and references to "you" include that organisation. You are responsible for the acts and omissions of anyone you allow to use your account or access content we host for you.

This Policy applies in addition to the eligibility and capacity requirements in our Terms of Service, including that the service is intended for users aged 18 or over (the age of majority under the Age of Majority Act 1971, read with section 11 of the Contracts Act 1950, under which agreements with minors are generally void).

You may not ask Press to build or host, and you may not publish, upload, link to, or distribute through anything we build or operate, any content that falls within the categories below. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. We may treat materially similar content as prohibited.

Illegal content

• Content that is unlawful under the laws of Malaysia, of the jurisdiction in which you operate, or of any jurisdiction in which the content is targeted or accessed, or that promotes, facilitates, or instructs others to engage in illegal activity.
• Content that breaches court orders, sanctions, or regulatory prohibitions.

Child sexual abuse material and content harmful to minors (zero tolerance)

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, or any content that sexualises, exploits, endangers, or grooms a minor. We operate a strict zero-tolerance rule: such content is removed immediately, the account is terminated, and we will report it to the appropriate law-enforcement and child-protection authorities as required or permitted by law.
• Any other content that is harmful to minors, including content unsuitable for or directed at children without lawful age controls.

Sexually explicit and adult content

• Pornographic or sexually explicit content, and adult services, unless you have obtained all required lawful authorisations and age-verification controls and we have agreed in writing to build or host it. Even where lawful, we may decline such content at our discretion.

Intellectual-property infringement and counterfeit

• Content that infringes the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, design right, or other intellectual-property or proprietary rights of any person.
• Counterfeit goods, or content that imitates a brand in a way likely to deceive.
• Any logo, photograph, font, video, text, or other material you provide to Press that you do not have the right to use, license, or have us reproduce. You are responsible for clearing all rights in everything you give us to build with (see Your responsibility for content).

Malware, phishing, and deceptive technical content

• Viruses, worms, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious or harmful code.
• Phishing pages, credential-harvesting forms, fake login screens, or content that impersonates another site or service to deceive visitors.
• Content designed to defraud, mine cryptocurrency without consent, or otherwise abuse a visitor's device.

Fraud, scams, and deceptive schemes

• Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content, including false or unsubstantiated claims about goods or services (the Consumer Protection Act 1999 prohibits misleading and deceptive conduct in trade).
• Pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing (MLM) recruitment funnels, "get-rich-quick" schemes, fake giveaways, advance-fee schemes, or Ponzi-style arrangements.
• Content that misrepresents your identity, affiliation, qualifications, or the origin of goods or services.

Hate, harassment, and violent extremism

• Content that incites, promotes, or condones hatred, discrimination, or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristic.
• Harassment, bullying, threats, doxxing, or content intended to intimidate or degrade.
• Terrorist or violent-extremist content, or content that promotes, supports, or provides instructions for acts of terrorism or mass violence.

Regulated and restricted goods and services

You may not use a site we build or host to advertise, sell, or facilitate the following without holding every licence, registration, and authorisation the law requires, and without our prior written agreement:

• Firearms, weapons, ammunition, explosives, and related accessories;
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia;
• Gambling, betting, lotteries, and games of chance;
• Tobacco, vaping products, and alcohol where regulated;
• Adult goods and services;
• Financial products and services, investment or trading schemes, and content making financial-return or yield claims;
• Health, medical, supplement, or therapeutic products and content making health, cure, or treatment claims;
• Any other goods or services whose sale or promotion is restricted or licensed in a relevant jurisdiction.

Spam, defamation, and privacy violations

• Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or content used to send unsolicited commercial communications in breach of applicable anti-spam or electronic-communications law.
• Defamatory, libellous, or knowingly false content that harms another person's reputation.
• Content that infringes another person's privacy or data-protection rights, or that publishes someone's personal data without a lawful basis (relevant under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and other applicable data-protection law).

In addition to the content rules above, you (and anyone using your account or accessing a preview through you) may not engage in the following conduct on or against the Press platform, including the free preview surface, your account, our infrastructure, and any website we host.

Defeating preview protections

Our free previews are intentionally browse-only and carry anti-theft protections. The source code is the product you pay for; the preview is not. You may not:

• Remove, obscure, alter, or attempt to defeat the watermark injected into preview pages;
• Bypass, forge, or attempt to defeat the signed, short-lived asset URLs, the noindex controls, or any other technical protection on a preview;
• Scrape, crawl, copy, download, archive, or rehost a preview or its assets, in whole or in part, by any means;
• Extract, reconstruct, or reverse-engineer the underlying source code, structure, or assets of a preview you have not paid for; or
• Share, forward, or grant access to a preview, a signed preview link, or your account credentials to anyone you have not been authorised to share them with.

Technical abuse and security

• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the Press platform except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits and cannot lawfully exclude;
• Automated scraping, harvesting, or bulk collection of data from the platform without our written permission;
• Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any Press system, or breaching or attempting to breach any security or authentication measure (other than coordinated, good-faith disclosure; see Reporting a security issue);
• Introducing malware or harmful code to the platform, or interfering with its normal operation;
• Overloading, flooding, or otherwise impairing the platform or its infrastructure, including denial-of-service activity or excessive automated requests beyond any documented rate limits.

Account, identity, and commercial misuse

• Impersonating any person or organisation, or misrepresenting your affiliation with anyone;
• Sharing, selling, transferring, or allowing unauthorised use of your account or credentials;
• Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting the Press service itself, or providing it to third parties as your own service, without our written agreement;
• Creating accounts by automated means or to evade a suspension, termination, or other enforcement action;
• Interfering with, disrupting, or degrading any other client's use of the platform, or accessing another client's account, content, or data without authorisation.

Responsibility for the lawfulness of content lies with you, the client. We build and host to your brief; we do not pre-vet every piece of content for legality, and we are not the author or publisher of your content.

By submitting content to us, asking us to build with it, or hosting it through us, you represent and warrant, on a continuing basis, that:

• You own or hold all rights, licences, and permissions necessary to use the content and to have Press reproduce, build with, host, and serve it, including every logo, photograph, font, text, and other asset you provide;
• The content and its use do not infringe any third party's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• The content does not breach this Policy, the Terms of Service, or any applicable law in any jurisdiction where it is published, targeted, or accessed;
• Any claims you make about goods or services are accurate and not misleading, and you hold any licences or authorisations required to offer them; and
• Where the content includes personal data of others, you have a lawful basis to provide it and to have it processed as part of the service.

You agree to keep the content compliant for as long as we host it, and to indemnify Press against claims, losses, and costs arising from your content or your breach of this Policy, as further set out in the Terms of Service. Nothing in this section limits any non-excludable statutory rights you have as a consumer.

We may act on a breach (or a reasonably suspected breach) of this Policy at our discretion, proportionately to the seriousness of the breach. Where it is reasonable and safe to do so, we will give notice and an opportunity to fix the problem first; where the breach is serious, unlawful, or poses a risk to others, to minors, or to our systems, we may act immediately and without prior notice.

Depending on the circumstances, we may take one or more of the following steps:

• Issue a warning and request that you remove or correct the offending content or conduct;
• Remove, disable, or restrict access to the offending content, page, or preview;
• Suspend your account, a preview, or a hosted website, including pausing the Care Plan or hosting service;
• Terminate your account, this Policy, your hosting, and/or your other agreements with us;
• Withhold delivery of, or access to, deliverables (including source code) where the breach relates to that work or to amounts properly owed; and
• Report the matter, and disclose relevant information, to law-enforcement, regulatory, or other authorities, or to affected third parties, where required or permitted by law (for example, in the case of CSAM, credible threats, fraud, or court orders).

Effect on fees and refunds

The kept website is charged as a single one-time payment, and the Care Plan is charged as a recurring subscription, as described in the Refund & Subscription Terms. Where we suspend, terminate, or remove content or services because of your breach of this Policy, you are not entitled to a refund of fees already paid, and any amounts you owe remain payable, except to the extent a refund is required by a non-excludable consumer-protection law. The refund treatment of the one-time kept-website purchase and of the recurring Care Plan is set out in the Refund & Subscription Terms; this Policy does not expand or override the refund rights described there, and nothing here purports to remove a statutory right you cannot lawfully waive.

Our enforcement rights are in addition to any other rights and remedies we have under the Terms of Service, the Refund & Subscription Terms, or applicable law. A decision not to enforce a breach on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it later.

If you believe content we host or a preview we serve breaches this Policy (for example, it is illegal, infringing, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive), please tell us. We review reports promptly.

Send abuse reports to [support@gopress.studio](mailto:support@gopress.studio). Please include:

• The URL(s) or preview link of the content in question;
• A description of the problem and which part of this Policy or which law you believe it breaches;
• Any evidence that helps us assess the report; and
• Your name and contact details so we can follow up.

Copyright and intellectual-property complaints

If you are a rights holder (or their authorised agent) and believe content we host infringes your intellectual-property rights, send a notice to [support@gopress.studio](mailto:support@gopress.studio) including:

1. Identification of the work or right you say is infringed;
2. Identification of the infringing content, with enough detail (such as the URL) for us to locate it;
3. Your contact details;
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate; and
6. Your physical or electronic signature, and confirmation that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.

On receipt of a valid complaint we may remove or disable access to the content, notify the client, and, where appropriate, give the client an opportunity to respond. We may decline to act on, or may seek clarification of, complaints that are incomplete, abusive, or made in bad faith, and submitting a knowingly false complaint may carry legal consequences for the complainant.

Reporting a security issue

If you discover a security vulnerability in the Press platform, please report it responsibly and privately to [support@gopress.studio](mailto:support@gopress.studio) rather than disclosing it publicly or exploiting it. Good-faith, coordinated disclosure that does not access other users' data, degrade the service, or exceed what is needed to demonstrate the issue is welcomed and is not treated as a breach of the security-conduct rules above.

We may update this Policy from time to time, for example, to reflect new risks, new features, changes in our services, or changes in the law. When we make a material change, we will post the updated Policy on this page and, where appropriate, give notice through the platform or by email; changes take effect when posted. The current version always governs your use; please review it periodically. Continuing to use Press, or to host content with us, after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
