No. Nothing is due until you have seen the finished preview and decided to keep it. We carry the risk of the first impression, not you.

Yes. Once you have paid to keep it, the finished site and its source code are yours outright: no lock-in. Host it with us on the optional care plan or take it anywhere you like.
